Historical Ottoman Musk Fruit Soaps 

 

In the 1600's, first fruit soaps are totally hand-crafted by artisans living in the capital Edirne. At the Ottoman Empire, musk, scent and rose fragrance are mixed while the soap composed to doughy density, shaped itself and painted with real fruit colours.

 

Fruit soap was an indispensable accessory of the Ottoman palaces which looms large in hygiene and scenery. Additionally, it is featured in one of the most important gifts sent to foreigner state commissioners by the Sultans of the era.

All products are hand-poured and hand-piped in our own workshops while using all natural food stain with own fragrance of the fruits.
